Allity – Walkerville

TSDB undertook the full refurbishment to Walkerville Aged Care, located in the peaceful inner northern suburbs and built on the shores of the River Torrens and the Adelaide Linear Park near the Walkerville Shopping Centre.

The works undertaken by TSDB were done over 3 stages as to minimise disruption to Allity operations and residents while major internal upgrades and reconfigurations were carried out. The reception and administration areas were relocated, as was the hair salon and large cafe – all with new services provisions and high-end fit out and joinery included.

TSDB refurbished 2 new large lounge areas with a gas fireplace and stone finish. All services to all lifestyle areas underwent upgrades and reconfigurations and all final applied finishes and fitout works were also part of the brief.

During these works TSDB also converted 7 new ancillary areas such as a pool room, staff room and laundry into a new high-end bedroom and ensuite configurations and converted a number of shared ensuite double rooms into singles with each having their own ensuite.

TSDB are also carrying out an extensive program to build in a number of new fire walls throughout the entire facility to assist in reclassification and certification compliance and the upgrade to over 60 bedrooms and ensuites.
